Color Wood Block Print, 6’ x 3’
The body of work created during this semester explored concepts of personal identity, race, and gender and how those ideas relate to an alter ego and terra nullius (no man’s land). Through these more abstract concepts, I explored multi-block-multi-color prints, laser engraved prints, and reduction prints.

This illustrative screen print was made during quarantine and I had a lot of time to reflect on what it means to be alone in a home. I felt a stillness and peace that I never had the time for before COVID. In this piece, I wanted to depict a world that reflected that comfort I felt in the loneliness.
